I love federated things, and I even run a small Mastodon instance for the Triangle area to prove it. Bookwyrm is a federated alternative to Goodreads. I've been off Goodreads since around the time they were acquired by Amazon. I also poked around on Oku, but they don't federate, which is kind of a bummer.
