This is my second year attempting Coffeeneuring and my first year completing the challenge! Last year, I was one ride short because I got the dates wrong.

Saturday, October 10

Biked to the shop to drop off an iron-on patch for a friend. Then a couple of us biked to a friend's porch to catch up and chat.

  • Distance: 14.26 miles
  • Drink: decaf drip with creamer
  • Location: brief stop at Oak City Cycling, then a friend's porch

Monday, October 12

A friend of mine got a new bike, so we headed to a coffee shop after work to test out her new whip!

  • Distance: 6.88 miles
  • Drink: decaf latte
  • Location: Cup A Joe

Sunday, October 18

An old friend, an old bike, and some very good weather. Said friend hadn't ridden in a long time, so this was a big ride for him!

Tuesday, October 20

Another ride with a friend, this time on gravel. She brought tasty muffins, and we caught a bit of the sunset before we headed out.

Friday, October 30

I had the day off work (went camping this weekend), so I took the morning to bike to one of my favorite coffee shops in the area. They were serving up a “Campfire Mocha” which entails graham-cracker infused milk and a big ol' marshmallow!

Saturday, November 7

A few of us organized a ride to Durham on this day, and it also happened to be the day that Biden was officially project to win the US presidency. We met up with a couple of other folks at a brewery to celebrate.

  • Distance: 47.63 miles
  • Drink: Black is Beautiful imperial stout
  • Location: Durty Bull

Sunday, November 22

A very quick, last-minute ride to complete the challenge. This is an old route that got me into biking several years ago. Quick, short, and sweet!
